Modern Slavery Statement

Financial year ending 31 March 2025  ·  Published: 7 June 2025

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Technical Assurance Group Ltd's modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 March 2025.

1. Our organisation

Technical Assurance Group Ltd is a professional services company registered in England and Wales. We provide independent technology assurance services — including infrastructure assessments, AI readiness evaluations, ISO certification assistance, and identity maturity assessments — to organisations in the United Kingdom.

We are a small professional services firm. Our workforce consists of experienced practitioners engaged on a consultancy basis. We do not operate manufacturing, logistics, or other supply chains that carry elevated modern slavery risk.

2. Our supply chains

Our supply chains are limited in scope and consist primarily of:

  • Professional services: specialist contractors and subject matter experts engaged to support assessment delivery.
  • Technology and software: cloud services, productivity tools, and professional software from established UK and international vendors.
  • Business services: legal, accounting, and administrative services from UK-based professional firms.

We assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chains to be low, given the professional nature of our services and the UK-based character of our principal suppliers.

3. Policies

We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. Our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking is reflected in the following:

  • We conduct appropriate due diligence on contractors and suppliers before engagement.
  • We do not engage suppliers or contractors who cannot demonstrate compliance with applicable employment law.
  • We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking.
  • We encourage staff and contractors to report any concerns through our confidential reporting channels.

4. Due diligence

We take the following steps to identify and address modern slavery risk in our operations and supply chains:

  • Pre-engagement screening of contractors and suppliers, including right-to-work verification.
  • Contractual requirements for suppliers to comply with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Review of supplier practices where concerns are raised.
  • Annual review of this statement and our associated practices.

5. Training and awareness

All staff and contractors are made aware of the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and our zero-tolerance approach. We provide guidance on recognising indicators of modern slavery and the reporting channels available.

6. Key performance indicators

We measure the effectiveness of our approach through the following indicators:

  • No reports or confirmed instances of modern slavery in our operations or supply chains.
  • All new contractors and suppliers subject to pre-engagement due diligence.
  • Annual review and publication of this statement.

7. Approval

This statement has been approved by the directors of Technical Assurance Group Ltd and will be reviewed annually.
